Cemento asfáltico
El asfalto limpio no contiene cargas y es un liquido a base de aceite. Se utiliza principalmente en la pavimentacian de carreteras, liquidos impermeabilizantes y pinturas. Normalmente se manipulan a temperaturas elevadas para reducir la viscosidad del asfalto. La bomba necesita una fuente de calor como un enchaquetado o calor elactrico para evitar que el producto se solidifique en la bomba.
Emulsiones asfálticas
Las emulsiones son asfalto suspendido en una mezcla con agua u otros líquidos. Esto se hace para facilitar la aplicación del asfalto. Los usos serían el relleno de grietas, el revestimiento de carreteras o la impermeabilización. Estas emulsiones son sensibles al cizallamiento y deben manipularse con cuidado.
Jarabe de maíz rico en fructosa (JMAF)
El jarabe de maíz de alta fructosa (JMAF) suele ir seguido del porcentaje de fructosa en el líquido, que oscila entre el 42 y el 55%. Se utiliza sobre todo en refrescos, mermeladas y jaleas como edulcorante. La regulación de la temperatura es importante porque el líquido puede decolorarse a temperaturas elevadas.
Adhesivos termofusibles
Los adhesivos Hot Melt son polímeros termoplásticos que se ablandan (se vuelven menos viscosos) cuando se calientan. Se aplican mediante un sistema local que funde el adhesivo y ajusta la velocidad de la bomba para que coincida con la velocidad de la máquina de conversión.
Grasas líquidas
Las grasas animales y los aceites vegetales reciclados se utilizan en la producción de piensos por muchas razones, como la aceleración de las tasas de crecimiento, la mejora del sabor, el aporte de ácidos grasos esenciales y para actuar como aglutinante en la producción de pellets de pienso. Los productos típicos incluyen aceites derivados del maíz, la soja y el cacahuete, así como grasas animales.
