Asfaltcement
Ren asfalt innehåller inga fyllmedel och är en oljebaserad vätska. Den används främst för vägbeläggning, vattentäta vätskor och färger. Pumpen behöver en värmekälla, t.ex. en mantel eller elektrisk värme, för att förhindra att produkten stelnar i pumpen.
Emulsioner av asfalt
Emulsioner är asfalt som suspenderats i en blandning med vatten eller andra vätskor. Detta görs för att underlätta appliceringen av asfalten. Exempel på användningsområden är sprickfyllning, beläggning av vägbanor eller vattentätning. Dessa emulsioner är skjuvkänsliga och måste hanteras med försiktighet.
Majssirap med hög fruktoshalt (HFCS)
High Fructose Corn Syrup (HFCS) följs vanligtvis av procentandelen fruktos i vätskan, som varierar mellan 42 och 55%. HFCS används oftast som sötningsmedel i läskedrycker, sylt och gelé. Temperaturreglering är relevant eftersom missfärgning av vätskan kan uppstå vid förhöjda temperaturer.
Hot Melt
Hot Melt-lim är termoplastiska polymerer som mjuknar (blir mindre viskösa) vid upphettning. Appliceras av ett lokalt system som smälter limmet och justerar pumphastigheten för att matcha konverteringsmaskinens hastighet.
Flytande fetter
Återvunna animaliska fetter och vegetabiliska oljor används i produktionen av djurfoder av många skäl, bland annat för att påskynda tillväxten, förbättra smaken, tillföra essentiella fettsyror och fungera som bindemedel vid framställning av foderpellets. Typiska produkter är oljor som härrör från majs, sojabönor, jordnötter och animaliska fetter.
