Les adhésifs thermofusibles sont des polymères thermoplastiques qui se ramollissent (deviennent moins visqueux) lorsqu'ils sont chauffés. Ils sont appliqués par un système local qui fait fondre l'adhésif et ajuste la vitesse de la pompe en fonction de la vitesse de la machine de transformation.
