Jabón de licor negro
El jabón de lejía negra es un subproducto intermedio natural de la fabricación de pasta kraft, que consiste en el contenido de colofonia y ácidos grasos que flota en la superficie cuando la lejía negra se deja sedimentar. Se retira y puede utilizarse como materia prima para la producción de tall oil. El jabón de lejía negra puede ser algo abrasivo y su viscosidad oscila entre 22 y 5500 cP, dependiendo de la temperatura a la que se manipule.
Calafatea
Las masillas pueden ser adhesivos y sellantes a base de silicona, acrílico o látex utilizados en la construcción industrial y doméstica. Suelen ser muy viscosos y sensibles al cizallamiento.
Grasas
Comúnmente denominada grasa lubricante, de automoción o para rodamientos. Generalmente son mezclas de un aceite mineral con uno o más jabones metálicos; los más comunes son los de sodio, calcio, bario, aluminio, plomo, litio, potasio y zinc. La textura de la grasa puede ser lisa, mantecosa, áspera, fibrosa, esponjosa o gomosa y presentar diversas viscosidades.
Isocianato
También conocido como TDI, MDI o diisocianato. El isocianato se utiliza como agente endurecedor o de curado en espumas de poliuretano, revestimientos industriales, elastómeros, tintas y resinas. Es extremadamente sensible a la humedad del aire y a los hidrocarburos, por lo que las opciones de sellado hermético son extremadamente críticas.
