4127C Series™ Pumps for Adhesives: Engineered for the Extreme
When it comes to pumping adhesives, not all equipment is built to handle the heat, the stickiness, or the corrosive nature of the job. That’s where Viking Pump’s 4127C Series™ stands out—designed specifically for the most challenging adhesive applications such as:
- Rubber-Based Adhesives – Ultra-high viscosity? No problem. Steel-fitted construction and larger port options ensure smooth, reliable flow.
- Starch Adhesives – Acidic and corrosive blends are no match for stainless steel components and specialty shaft materials.
- Phenolic Resins & Abrasives – Built to resist wear with enhanced bushings, idler pins, and abrasive liquid seals.
- Hot Melt Adhesives – Optional steam jacketing keeps product fluid and prevents solidification during transfer.
- UV Curable Adhesives – Leak-free sealing options like O-Pro® technology ensure clean, consistent performance.
4127C SERIES™
- All stainless steel construction for corrosion resistance over a wider pH range
- ProPort™ casing utilizes mounting pads on each port designed to fit a variety of different flange types and sizes, enabling flexibility when connecting pumps to piping
- U-Plus™ bracket, available on H-QS sizes, offers seal location to be in the stuffing box or behind the rotor

O-Pro® Barrier Seal: Leak-Free Protection for Adhesive Pumping
Adhesive applications are tough on pumps—especially when dealing with abrasive, viscous, or reactive materials. Viking Pump’s patented O-Pro® Barrier Seal is a game-changing solution designed to eliminate leakage, reduce maintenance, and extend pump life in the most demanding environments.
The O-Pro® Barrier Seal uses a series of O-rings and a lubricant chamber to create a positive seal between the pump shaft and casing. This design prevents adhesive from escaping while keeping contaminants out, even in high-viscosity or abrasive conditions. Unlike traditional packing, the O-Pro® seal is self-lubricating, maintenance-friendly, and leak-free.
With over 110 years of experience providing positive displacement pumping solutions, Viking Pump has a rich, lengthy history of providing engineered solutions for tough applications. We have dedicated sales and field support specialists who are supported by a team of customer service representatives and engineers.
