Pression à laquelle la pompe sera soumise pendant une courte durée afin de garantir l'intégrité du moulage, du joint et du joint d'étanchéité.
Calcul : les pressions d'essai hydrostatique peuvent atteindre jusqu'à 1,5 fois la pression maximale de service admissible (MAWP), mais peuvent être limitées par d'autres facteurs tels que le joint d'étanchéité.

What is the hydrostatic test pressure?

Hydrostatic test pressure is the pressure to which the pump will be subjected to for a short duration to ensure casting, seal, and gasket integrity. This is achieved by sealing and pressurizing the pump when it is not in operation. Hydrostatic test pressures can be to as much as 1.5 times the maximum allowable working pressure, but may be limited by other factors such as the seal.
