Huiles brutes
Il s'agit d'un terme très générique désignant les huiles non raffinées généralement extraites du sol. Certains pétroles bruts peuvent contenir des particules provenant du puits de pétrole ou de la méthode de récupération. Ils sont considérés comme des liquides inflammables. Les pétroles bruts sont ensuite raffinés et utilisés dans tous les domaines, de la fabrication de plastiques à celle d'essence.

Cemento Asfaltato
L'asphalte propre ne contient aucun agent de remplissage et est un liquide à base d'huile. Il est principalement utilisé pour le pavage des routes, les liquides d’imperméabilisation et les peintures. Ils sont généralement traités à haute température pour réduire la viscosité de l'asphalte. La pompe a besoin d'une source de chaleur, telle qu'une gaine ou un chauffage électrique, pour empêcher le produit de se solidifier dans la pompe.
Liquides caloporteurs (huile chaude)
Les liquides caloporteurs, l'huile caloporteuse ou l'huile chaude, sont généralement fabriqués à partir de l'une des matières suivantes : huile minérale, diphényles, terphényles modifiés ou polyalkalèneglycols. Les liquides caloporteurs sont utilisés pour transférer la chaleur d'une source à un point d'utilisation tel que les matrices, les presses, les récipients de cuisson, les équipements de traitement, etc. La plupart sont manipulés à des températures allant jusqu'à 600°F.
