Klebstoffe
Klebstoffe sind eine Gruppe von Stoffen wie Zement, Leim, Schleim und Paste, die in der Lage sind, Materialien durch Oberflächenhaftung zusammenzuhalten. Klebstoffe werden aus vielen verschiedenen Grundstoffen hergestellt, darunter Dextrin, Latex, Silikone, ssigkautschuk, Harz, Natriumsilikat und Starke.
Harze
Harze sind hochviskose Flüssigkeiten mit potenziell scherempfindlichen (verdünnenden) Bestandteilen und bestehen aus Lösungsmitteln, Wachsen, Tensiden und halbfesten Harzpartikeln, die alle verschiedene chemische Kompatibilitätsprobleme aufweisen. Diese Harze können in Polyurethanen, Epoxiden und anderen Klebstoffen verwendet werden. In einigen Fällen enthalten die Harze Pigmente, die Probleme mit der Abnutzung mit sich bringen.
Raffinierte Kraftstoffe
Zu den raffinierten Kraftstoffen gehören Heizöle auf Erdölbasis und einige Düsenkraftstoffe. Ihre Viskosität und Temperatur kann stark variieren. Normalerweise werden sie in Schüttgutumschlagverfahren umgeschlagen.
