Power Transfer Unit Specifications
External Gear PTUs - Select the pump size based on desired flow
and speed, then determine required horsepower based on operating presure.
Then, refer to the motor selection chart and make selection based on
required horsepower, available hydraulic fluid flow rate and desired speed
(RPM).

Internal Gear PTUs - One hydraulic motor (FM-0741) is used on
Series 75 (packed) and 475 (mechanically sealed) power transfer units as
standard. Select pump based on desired flow rate and operating
pressure. This will determine the required pressure differential and
flow rate for the hydraulic motor.
