Student Drafter
Job Location: Cedar Falls, Iowa
SUMMARY
Performs drafting and design section work assignments of basic complexity as directed by the Engineering Manager.
TYPICAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
This is a part time drafting position in the Design Engineering Section under direction and supervision of the Engineering Manager.
Makes engineering changes on drawings as directed.
Prepares engineering drawings, charts, graphs, diagrams etc. as required by work assignments.
Prepares original design layouts and detail work on CAD.
Prepares a variety of written material as required by job assignments including correspondence memos, instructions, reports, etc.
ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS
Requires frequent contact with all phases of Engineering (Lab, Applications, Records and Design).
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of one year of 2D CAD training or experience. 3D CAD experience would be a plus.
High School Degree.
