Due to the difficulties in
sealing sugars, Viking's Universal
Seal pumps, with their cartridge seal capabilities, are used along
with the SL
pumps. Where higher pressures are required, the
Industrial
Lobe
pumps may be used.
Applications include light juice, concentrated
liquors, massecuite, sugar magmas, molasses, honey, glucose, fructose,
alcohols and by-products.
